AFG Aviation Ireland Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany GmbH, successfully placed its recently acquired two (2) Airbus A319-115 aircraft bearing manufacturer’s serial numbers 7284 and 7318 with its customer Air Côte d’Ivoire S.A., the national carrier of Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), based in Abidjan.
Placement of one Boeing 737-300 freighter aircraft
AFG Aviation Ireland Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany GmbH, successfully placed one (1) Boeing 737-300 freighter aircraft bearing MSN 27362 with its customer Airnesia Royal Cargo. Airnesia is near to obtaining its AOC in Indonesia.
Acquisition of one Boeing 737-300 freighter aircraft.
On 13 March 2024 AFG Aviation Ireland Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany GmbH, successfully completed the acquisition of one (1) Boeing 737-300 freighter aircraft bearing MSN 27362 from Chinese leasing company Tianjin Zhongzhou Qitian Leasing Co., Ltd. The aircraft leaves the fleet of Central Airlines based in Haikou, Hainan, China.
Placement of two (2) Airbus A321-231 aircraft
AFG Aviation Ireland Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany GmbH, successfully placed two (2) Airbus A321-231 aircraft with its customer Global Aviation for Air Transportation Ltd. Global Aviation is a new airline based in Baghdad, Iraq and was established as a public-private partnership between the Iraqi Government and a renowned Iraqi businessman.
Acquisition of one (1) Airbus A321-231 from Aircastle (Irland) Limited.
AFG Aviation Ireland Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany GmbH, announces the completion of its latest acquisition. On July 14, 2023, AFG purchased one Airbus A321-231 aircraft bearing manufacturer’s serial number (MSN) 3458 from Aircastle (Ireland) Limited. The aircraft will undergo major maintenance and modification work prior to entering service with one of AFG’s airline customers.
Acquisition of one (1) Airbus A321-231 aircraft bearing MSN 6399 from UMB.
On April 5, 2023 AFG Aviation Ireland Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany GmbH, successfully completed the acquisition of one (1) Airbus A321-231 aircraft bearing MSN 6399 from UMB, N.A. as owner trustee for New York Life Insurance and managed by DAE Capital.
Acquisition of one (1) Boeing 757-200F aircraft bearing MSN 25622 as well as one (1) Rolls-Royce RB211 engine with ESN 30512
On 28 September 2022 AFG Aviation Ireland Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany GmbH (Germany), completed the acquisition of one (1) Boeing 757-200F aircraft bearing MSN 25622 as well as one (1) Rolls-Royce RB211 engine with ESN 30512 from a subsidiary of ASL Aviation Holdings DAC (Ireland) for its customer Airline Geo Sky LLC (Tbilisi, Georgia). For the Georgian cargo airline, founded in 2017 and currently operating successfully two (2) B747-200F aircraft, the newly added B757-200F will further contribute to the development of the airlines’ freighter network.
Acquisition of one Rolls Royce RB211-535E4
On 20 July 2022, AFG Aviation Ventures No.1 (Ireland) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany, completed the acquisition of one (1) Rolls Royce RB211-535E4 engine bearing ESN 31391 from a subsidiary of Florida-based Gryphon Aviation Leasing, LLC. The engine is currently on its way to Budapest (Hungary) where it awaits installation on a Boeing 757-200F airframe.
Acquisition of one Airbus A330-200
On 11 July 2022, AFG Aviation Ireland Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany, completed the acquisition of one (1) Airbus A330-200 bearing MSN 926 from a subsidiary of French shipping giant CMA CGM S.A.
